Welcome To Prompted 2 Write

I have always loved writing and taught it in my classes, no matter the grade. After retirement, I published several books and began blogging. I love it, but there are days when I can't think of anything to write. When I taught writing to children, I always gave them a writing prompt, making it easier for them. I hope to post writing prompts for all ages. This site will be helpful to homeschoolers as well a classroom teachers. It is for anyone who loves writing or anyone who is required to write. Please let me see some of your writing.

LE:  I had a great Christmas.  We got up early and ate breakfast.  Then we went to the tree to open presents.  Everything fell apart when my brother opened a ....
 
UE:  You should have been at my house Christmas morning.  My brother did  the dumbest thing.  He opened a present from my grandparents and it was .....
 
MS:  Well I had an interesting Christmas break.  We were getting read for our family's Christmas Eve dinner.  The doorbell rang and ....
 
HS:  Did you hear what happened to Jim?  He was driving home the day after Christmas when suddenly...
 
A:  My New Year's Eve didn't go as planned.  We were having a good time when Eloise walked in.  That's when everything fell apart.  Here's what happened....
